I picked this up when I was looking for something to keep my hands busy during long meetings and video calls. I’ve tried all sorts of fidget toys—spinners, cubes, squishy things—but most of them were either too noisy, too flashy, or required more coordination than my brain could manage while listening to someone talk.

This little slider is the first one I’ve found that ticks all the boxes: it’s silent, it feels oddly calming to click and slide, and nobody really notices me using it under the table or off to the side of my keyboard. The magnets give it just enough resistance that it’s satisfying without being distracting.

I mostly use it when I’m feeling restless or when my focus starts drifting. For me, having something small and repetitive to do with my hands helps me concentrate on what people are saying instead of zoning out completely. If you need a low-key fidget tool that won’t annoy anyone around you, this is the one I recommend.
